If you need to keep same length I would just repair at the cut - put some suitably sized heatshrink over one of the cut pieces - strip back the insulator a cm or so on each side and tin with solder, solder a wire link across the break points. Heatshrink over the top and you'll have a passable repair.

Yep. The signal is going from the source, be it CD player, tuntable tuner or whatever and travels to the amp - in the direction of the arrow. From personal expierience I would always use an interconnect in the one direction once it's "burnt in".Manc Pat wrote:Am I right hooking up my interconnects in the direction of the arrow into the amp??
