To make it as clear as we can, here are some simple guidelines:
a) like any forum, the success of tirnahifi is entirely dependent on discussion. All members are encouraged to participate in discussion of music, hifi, etc.
b) tirnahifi is not designed to be, nor intended to be, a marketplace. Any member who uses the site merely for selling will be looked on suspiciously.
c) those members who choose to sell on the site should be aware that the mods do keep an eye on the stuff for sale, plus the demeanour of the seller. Sometimes we may lock/delete/ban a sales thread on this basis.
d) honesty is paramount in all selling transactions. Commercial sellers who label themselves as such are accepted at the discretion of the moderating team.
e) All ads have to include information about age, price, provenance, etc.
f) THE MODERATING TEAM RESERVE THE RIGHT TO REMOVE ANY ADS AT THEIR DISCRETION.
g) Commercial sellers should approach any of the moderation team in advance of posting. First time commercial posts without moderator contact will be removed.
Ill be wondering how much difference will be in between their medical grade strips and audio strips.
Audio grade uses RFI 10A mains filter which I am not big fan of as I think this sort of filters compress dynamics. Perhaps to use only with the source, dac but not for the amplifier.
Anyway, good to look at this option

All my power cables are UK, and I was always thinking to get rid of them, and replace with Schuko version. Only to run UK power cable from the wall socket to Schuko power distributor block, and then use Schuko cables to each device.
Schuko plugs do not have a fuses like UK plugs. I do not see much point of using additional fuse if your equipment has already a fuse in the power inlet socket.
I agree. When I moved to Ireland I replaced the extensions plug with UK standard ones, but I kept all my Schuko terminated power cables for the main hifi devices. In this case it is useful to have a quick way to identify the correct power phase (live wire), hence the red dots that you see in the second picture.
Here’s a video from Richie of Kronos Audio explaining how Titan do their thing. I don’t have that particular block as I felt what I had was good enough. Sadly they’ve ceased production of all their earlier more affordable blocks and cables including my own Helios block. The Ares block featured in the video is the only ‘budget’ block they do now. Also I’m not exactly jumping over the moon with its double sided design and tiny footprint. That’s another reason why I’m not too bothered. Anyway enjoy the video.

I am using Titan Audio as well and agree totally with your analysis. I don't like the new configuration of their mains blocks at all! Maybe just impove some of the cables along the way.

Also, it seems, after having a quick look on their site, that, in the power cable section, there are some affordable cables after all in the shape of the Helios mains and Signature variants.
