I have indeed ventured there Seán but I am not all that convinced or enamoured to be honest. I just personally find the operatic music of Rossini too reminiscent of Mozart to be individualistic or interesting enough for my taste. Well that does surprise me Fergus. I can definitely hear Mozart's influences in his operas. I find his music world enchanting and very rich indeed.
