Lovely recordings Fergus, enjoy.
Cheers Seán; I think I remember you recommending that particular recording in a recent discussion.

Hi Fergus, I'd love to learn what you make of that set? I know that Chalkie holds those guys in very high regard.
I only have a small number of recordings by the Griller SQ Seán and they are wonderful.

Have you ventured in to Rossini's operatic world? If you haven't this set (recommended to me by Pepe) is just wonderful, well worth having:

I have indeed ventured there Seán but I am not all that convinced or enamoured to be honest. I just personally find the operatic music of Rossini too reminiscent of Mozart to be individualistic or interesting enough for my taste. Will probably be excommunicated for that but there you are!

Well that does surprise me Fergus. I can definitely hear Mozart's influences in his operas. I find his music world enchanting and very rich indeed. Interesting.

And that, Seán, is the important thing; continued enjoyment!
