2.29.1 better! soundstage is fine is better!
-piano flows very well. better! notes need more crispy, more texture. pianist left hand(lower volume hand) needs less mellow.

yesterday restored Pro Audio to 10000.jesuscheung wrote:2.29.1 better! soundstage is fine is better!

classical piano have many quiet notes, high technical playing can create many musical nuances. if soundstage and vibration are not good then these notes will be bad, even dumb. bad software player can't reproduce these notes.

Re: lekt player
2.29.1 already flows better than mqn2.82. i heard more texture from mqn2.82 so i think it is possible. 2.82 is too bright on heavy notes.lekt wrote:yesterday restored Pro Audio to 10000.jesuscheung wrote:2.29.1 better! soundstage is fine is better!

ignoring the texture, 2.29.1 is pretty flawless in piano.

Re: lekt player
lekt, you don't use any hardware prefetch, right?
i am seriously considering disabling "adjacent cache line prefetch" in bios. so much better sound with lekt player.
too mellow with "adjacent cache line prefetch". disable it, more revealing. piano is 99% perfect. treble is 5% better.
