they do have some odd opening hours/days. I can never remember which... something to do with full moons and the marching season.

Re: Vinyl oops!
I was having a gander in Tower the other night while waiting on she who must BT.
They seem to stock an awful lot of releases with
"Music on Vinyl" ,if memory serves, as the label.
I know there are some labels which do really good vinyl releases and some which are mediocre. Is there a rule of thumb?
i.e. if its a major label = better, or is the converse true, that the midget labels take better care over mastering for vinyl etc?
also, I wish they'd put maybe 10 less albums in each rack.... its nigh on impossible to browse!

Re: Vinyl oops!
Which 'midget' labels are you talking about? MOV is fine. I can't remember being unhappy with any of the reissues I have anyway. Whereas some people can't stand 4MWB's. It really depends on how fussy and how familiar you are with the original. And you're right about the Tower racks, you'd want a powerful wrist to get though that lot LOL :)jaybee wrote:I was having a gander in Tower the other night while waiting on she who must BT.

Re: Vinyl oops!
I think it was MoV I was curious about, having followed a lot I'd vinyl reviews over the past year or so they never cropped up, MOFI, AnalogueProductions, 4 MWB all appear...
