You were mentioned more than once last night, Fran. Were your ears burning?? :)

Good work on the sub too, I could never get a sub to work well, there must be magic in that PV1 sub..

Fran
Pearse was the PV1 sub man. It could be my wolly ears but sure lets see what you think when you hear them. I have to wire it up but have 2 of them now so will try them out as there seems to be some suggestion that 2 work better. Probably sub woofer manufacturer planted that seed.
The auld ears must of been burning alright as you had a production line of at least 6 quads to sort from that gathering alone.

Another interesting aspect of last night's get together was the performance of the JK DAC. I would agree that the sub worked very well but the setting was pretty low so it was not dominating. The sound from the new set up was great....but not as good as the cake!!!

Jasus Anne will be preening around like Missus Doyle. I might chance suggesting stacked quads and see how that flys.

Figured out the supertweeters. One is not working for some reason hence the view it was delivering nothing. Turned up the working one to a high level and it definitely adds a sparkle to the top end. I would want to have a working pair in for a period to work out if they deliver something.
