I heard that MC are less powerfull also, so... not sure it's good for me (as I find already the Grado not being powerful enough)...

That's because the Grado has a lower output than most others (5mV). You couldn't go wrong with the Goldring 1000 series of mms....from the 1006 up to the 1042 (6.5mV). I just ordered a shure m97xe, for 80€ delivery included i ain t taking too much risk... :-)
