I have a pile of Vivaldi on my to be listened to pile, so this might give me a kickstart to begin ploughing throught it :-)

Perhaps, careless more like. I spend a great deal of time writing and reviewing documents in work, so when I get home and I'm on these forums and on Facebook too it must be said, I type and post without checking....it's a very, very bad habit. It may be interpreted as the antics of an eejit!

Jasus even I could do that! Thanks for the dumbing down lads! ;)
I eargerly await your erudite comments Ivor....I am sure that you will bring your own flavour to the proceedings.

I am very pleased to have received such a positive response so far. I would genuinely like as high a participation rate as possible so even if you absolutely HATE the Four Seasons please post that fact but I would urge you to try explain any feeling that you have for the music.

The purpose of this particular project is to try to help those that do not understand or appreciate certain works so if different positive opinions are set forth, something just might ignite a spark of appreciation in someone that was not already there. If that happens then we will have succeeded!

He is also of the Vegetarian species so the pork would definitely be out Jared. In relation to the beverage I would suggest that it is more likely to be a very nice bottle of the Red Vine!

Another Idea: 'The Music Lounge'

Some of these threads have been getting jolly 'chatty' recently, to such a point that the 'Recent Purchases' thread hasn't really been purely about recent purchases for a while...

How would you all feel about having a thread set up (maybe with a sticky pin, Admins?) which can be our own listening lounge, where people can pop something on the gramophone, help themselves to a glass of port and chat away about anything vaguely music related...

thereby leaving the listening, purchases & bargain threads to just that..

this isn't intended as a criticism; merely as an observation.

What do you all think?
