I do enjoy Tim Thurston's programme, that link makes for fascinating reading too, thanks for that. I mentioned on a different forum that I am beginning to understand why Fergus makes such a great fuss over the music of JSB, I am a late developer, better late than never. All Bach recommendations are welcome.

Thank you for that Simon. I like Thurston's low key presentation style and it was very interesting to read what he has to say. I was very pleased that he mentioned one of my firm beliefs regarding the performance of the music of JS Bach that others seem to miss and that is that it should dance. For me personally that is a key factor to a successful performance.
