Anyone tried Nordost Blue Heaven or Red Dawn Speaker Cable
Anyone tried Nordost Blue Heaven or Red Dawn Speaker Cable
Never really been into speaker cable, just have some copper wire (well Kimber 8TC) at the moment, but a few have mentioned these Nordost cables are the bees-knees. Anyone have any experience of these?
Re: Anyone tried Nordost Blue Heaven or Red Dawn Speaker Cab
I have not used the Blue Heaven or Red Dawn but I do use the Nordost Flatline speaker cable. It is a bit bright but my system needs that so the combination works fine for me.

I don't know if they're "the bees knees" but they are very good, very competent cables. But there are a lot of very good, very competent cables out there.

Hi Ivor , The right man in the right place , looking for some Speaker cable to replace to very short run of unterminated Nordost Super Flatline , its just a tad too bright for my B&W M1s - Any recommendations for something a little less bright ? Would only need about 3 metres in total
Re: Anyone tried Nordost Blue Heaven or Red Dawn Speaker Cab
have you tried standard mains cable - solid copper core should soften out the brightness and if you don't like it well.... it's cheap and cheerful.JFK wrote:Hi Ivor , The right man in the right place , looking for some Speaker cable to replace to very short run of unterminated Nordost Super Flatline , its just a tad too bright for my B&W M1s - Any recommendations for something a little less bright ?
