Finally !!!

After months of preparation, talks, drawings and conception my new DIY turntable is finally connected to the amp ! :D

I have to say, I m REALLY impressed by the sound quality compared to my old one !!

Handmade Belt Drive Turntable - Guitar body style
Made in Moabi wood
Technics 1200 /1210 MK3d Tonearm (rewired with Cardas wires)
Goldring 1042 (MM) cartridge
Made in France in August 2011
Custom made acrylic platter (big Thanks to Gerry)
Origin Live platter mat

if that sounds even half as good as it looks then it must sound fantastic! Well done lad, very impressive work.
Vinyl -anything else is data storage.

I'll probably meet with my carpenter friend soon to work on another turntable project (not a guitar type this time) as I receive already a new order.

Last night I put the turntable on spikes and WOW what a massive difference in sound quality ! I didn't expect such a cool improvement :)
