I am using a Resolution Audio Opus-21 CD player with a Naim NAC-82 preamp.
I am connecting it via the CD phono output [which passes through the analog volume control in the CD player].
I have read that I can improve things if I use the CD din output [which does not pass throght the CD player volume control] and I contacted Rresolution Audio about this. They confirmed this arrangement should give better sound and they recommened a cable made by DNM.
I have checked with DNM and they make two suitable cables one costing £70 and the other £250 [approx].
The difference is the use of

which is a high frequency termination network which works as follows ..

Does any one have any experience of these cables ? In particular has anyone any experience of the DNM HFTN.

Looks like a rc network to act as a high pass filter. You'd have to find out what the output impedance of the cd player is through the din connection - it might be in the booklet or on their website.
The other thing..... I thought that naim amps were already bandwidth limited - but you'd need to check that one out. If your amp is, then essentially it already has the network inside.
Interesting angle for them to come up with.
