Whenever I visit my girlfriend, she likes to listen to some music during dinner and watch a movie afterwards.
But there's a problem...
The company is the loveliest, her taste in music is better than mine, she can shop for used vinyl better than me!
Movies, she has an impeccable taste.
But, ferchristssake I cannot take those goddamn laptop speakers anymore... I'm spoiled and snobbish, I'll admit that. There has to be a middle ground though!
Ideally, I'd get a pair of wharfedale 9.1's and leave a 10 watt amp or something at her place. But I know that even that size speaker would annoy her.
My only hope is for something much smaller, say something with a 3.5" driver.
Any Idea's?

Elac Micromagic 2.1 speaker system was €1399,00 now €995,00 in the Cloney sale.
You might have to eat cost conscious meals for a while though!
they are fantastic, bluetooth connection to laptop.

Re: Need some very small speakers
I was thinking more like 200-300 euro :P
At least until I sell a few more cars!
As for cost conscious, I find that winesdirect.ie to be a great upgrade to any system. Albeit a temporary one!
They do look nice though...

L O L : - ) How about a more affordable option.....JBL. We used to have an earlier edition as near field studio monitors and they were brilliant. They can't be that expensive. See link below.DancingPriest wrote:I can afford about 1.75" of it!Ivor wrote:that sub is about 7" tall.

Wireless and suitable for laptops....in black as well.

From reading the reviews it doesn't seem like a good choice after all :(

These are the ones I was referring to. Didn't think they made them anymore!
You'd need an amp for these...

This is much better :)

These yokes from Creative got good reviews, and with only 2 inch drivers!

I got these B&W ones for streaming music and they're pretty good, although don't have great bass for movies. They were a shade over €400 in Cloneys.
