Downloading photo from phone to a post

Hi All
I am useless at IT stuff. Age thing. When trying to download a photo from the phone gallery to a post a message appears saying image to large.
The phone is android anyone any idea how to solve this

check google play store for an image resizing app for your phone or... email the image to yourself, open it on your PC and using PIxresizer drop the resolution so it
fits.
