I’m an infrequent visitor to the country as I work overseas but thought I’d mention a neat music source I came across.
8radio who seem to have legacy dna from Phantom. ( It may be that I’m not telling youse anything that you don’t already know)
Unrepresentative sample from 1 nights listening yielded a very pleasant few hours of Brit & American indie and not indie album tracks with no commercials. As was said when Blur was playing “ If you’re looking for Parklife you’re listening to the wrong station!”.
Also will broadcast on FM from next weekend until July 14th and this seems to be trial to go full time broadcasting on their own terms ( avoiding I guess the conditions that killed Phantom)
