Note that Tir Na HiFi does not take any responsibility for transactions arranged or carried out here. It is up to the seller and buyer to check each other out! Please be sensible folks, and if there is something you think is wrong, let a mod know, OK?
To make it as clear as we can, here are some simple guidelines:
a) like any forum, the success of tirnahifi is entirely dependent on discussion. All members are encouraged to participate in discussion of music, hifi, etc.
b) tirnahifi is not designed to be, nor intended to be, a marketplace. Any member who uses the site merely for selling will be looked on suspiciously.
c) those members who choose to sell on the site should be aware that the mods do keep an eye on the stuff for sale, plus the demeanour of the seller. Sometimes we may lock/delete/ban a sales thread on this basis.
d) honesty is paramount in all selling transactions. Commercial sellers who label themselves as such are accepted at the discretion of the moderating team.
e) All ads have to include information about age, price, provenance, etc.
f) THE MODERATING TEAM RESERVE THE RIGHT TO REMOVE ANY ADS AT THEIR DISCRETION.
g) Commercial sellers should approach any of the moderation team in advance of posting. First time commercial posts without moderator contact will be removed.

Re: Kef LS50 Wireless speakers for sale.
Why are you selling so soon, if they're so good?

Re: Kef LS50 Wireless speakers for sale.
Hi sjb,
For me the hobby is trying different gear, not just getting the best sound. I have these on adverts too. If you look at my profile I swap stuff out faster than most I admit :) All my buyers have rated me 100%. Of many good systems I've owned these hands down offer the best sound quality, an opinion pretty much being confirmed by every online review. But as mentioned I'm a compulsive box swapper!

Fair enough, I'm sure most of us here can relate. They seem to be showing up some faults judging from the Roon forum but get great kudos for their sound if not their usability.uiscew wrote: ↑Fri Sep 08, 2017 11:47 am Hi sjb,

Where did you buy them?
How much of warranty is left (and is it transferable)?
Do they come with stands?
cheers,

Re: Kef LS50 Wireless speakers for sale.
2 year EU warranty as purchased in Ireland so plenty remaining. I have receipt and have not registered them with KEF.
I use them on stands but they're not included. Atacama Nexus, work well and not expensive.
The app and firmware is regularly being updated to address an issues, although personally I've experienced no problems. Like any wifi streamer I've used you need a stable home network. Failing that go Ethernet!

Re: Kef LS50 Wireless speakers for sale.
Price drop to €1500. Last chance on these as I'm exploring trade in options.

Well if you're open to swap or cash plus swap the following are options chez Sloop
Naim n-sat (with choice of wall mounts or stand)
Naim SuperUniti (192 + Tidal but not Bluetooth)
NAD C 320
Shahanian Arcs (working currently with SuperUniti but in need of a little TLC)

A lot to explore there, and I am a Naim fan. Leave it with me thanks.
