F.S. Tag McLaren 100x5R, AVI 10" Subwoofer & Nakamichi CR7A

Post by Andy S »

I reluctantly have for sale a few items which don't really get enough use by me to justify
having these in my system.

Firstly my Tag McLaren 100x5R five channel power amp which is an American 120 volt version but has worked
faultlessly since I acquired in approx. 4 years ago using a step down transformer.

It is a very well reviewed power amp and would be a great enhancement to any AV set up.

Thsi is a fabulous piece of equipment and cost in the region of €4k when new. The amp has a ding on it's top left
hand corner but is not really noticeable when stacked or in a rack.

I run active speakers and don't have a centre channel speaker so this is currently used to power my rear speakers
which is a complete waste and I have another amp that can easily service the back speakers.

More details available here http://www.iaguk.co.uk/tag/

I am looking for €750.00 for this brilliant piece of equipment.

Secondly, my cherished Nakamichi CR7A which is in excellent condition and comes with it's RM-7C Remote Control.

This was arguably the best cassette player/recorder ever produced, even better than the legendary Dragon.

This again is an American 120v version but works beautifuly using a step down transformer.

A review can be found here http://www.hi-fiworld.co.uk/hfw/oldewor ... icr7e.html

I am looking for €800 for this piece of hi fi history. The remote itself is often a sought after item and I have seen these sell for €150!

Lastly, my AVI 10" Subwoofer that partners my AVI ADM9 Active speakers. It is Black and is an excellent subwoofer. I paid over €1,000 for it back in 2008, I am looking for €500.

As ever, demos welcome.
