New record shop in Liffey Valley

Post by Derek »

Wearehead have opened another Head record shop on the site of HMV in Liffey Valley.
A lot of vinyl and the CD's are categorised, and in order, some nice back catalogue stuff in there too, I hope it lasts.

http://www.wearehead.com/ I note the pic for Liffey Valley is the same as Leamington Spa.
NigeAmp, NigeSD DAC, Airtight ATM-4, Ruark Accolades, Pink Triangle TT, Roksan Artimiz, Clearaudio Discovery, Tom Evans Microgroove Plus, Fran DAC, Dalkey Audio Interconnects.

I've been in there a couple of times, prices are slightly above everywhere else, in saying that I picked up some real gems between €8-15, stuff that nobody else would buy!

Picked up Yusuf/Cat Stevens - Tell 'Em I'm Gone LP in Head today for €6. Produced by Rick Rubin and mixed by Paul Samwell Smith (who produced all those great Cat Stevens Lps from the early 1970s). Richard Thompson and Tinariwen play on it.

Here is a sample of what it is like. Great recording.
