Polish Website

Post by Adrian »

Hi Chaps,

Just browsing the www after reading Ciarans post about his new ALPs pot, I came across a Polish website some of you may be familiar with it already,

http://www.soundclub.pl/new.html

They had some really good photos of hi fi gear. For example this link here shows the Airtight ATC 3 and ATM 1S pre power set up and how they look together. I had no idea that the power amp was smaller than the pre amp unit. In addition they also had internal photos of the amplifiers so one could see the quality of the workmanship internally, link here.

Ever fancied what the internal of the Acoustic Masterpiece AM 201 looks like, link here,

I always like to see the internal photos, as while the component must look good on the outside its what's inside is what counts.

That's a nice site alright, some interesting info and pics of the internals without having to lift the lid on our own. That makes me very nervous!

The ATM 1s is narrower than the pre amp but all its mass in in the transformers. It's still a hefty piece and a bitch to lift out of a rack.
Vinyl - anything else is data storage.

Theres some very good stuff on those polish forums - the whole shigaclone thing came from there originally (CD transport that I'm using right now).

As an aside, and also with reference to Ciarans thread, the alps blue velvet pots can be clearly seen in those upskirt pics.
