Is anyone else going to the screening of Metropolis in the concert hall on Sat night?

Re: metropolis remastered
Hi Fran,
Sorry I am afraid I will have to miss that one, I did not know it was on anyway.
I remember watching Metropolis some years ago, used to be in the video store, but the music score was a compilation of modern rock bands. Freddie Mercury was one, Cycle V another, Bonnie Tyler, Pat Benatar and Adam Ant (remember him??) I have the soundtrack on CD somewhere.
I did enjoy that one!!

Re: metropolis remastered
Don't think Queen will feature in this one....
I really don't have any expectations to be honest - but it should be interesting and the concert hall is a great spot....

Re: metropolis remastered
I'd love to go to that, but I've got a big family do on that evening. I'll try to catch it at the IFI while it's on.
Re: metropolis remastered
If it wasn't for the fact that I have an uncharacteristically busy social life this week I'd go to it, I need the Saturday evening to just relax. But yes Ciaran, the IFI is a good idea.

Just back from this tonight: astonishingly good is all I can say. I was spellbound for the entire movie.
