Re: Which are your favorite Christmas recordings?
You outdo yourself once again Pepe with your wonderful catalogue.
I have been listing some of my favourite Christmas recordings in the Listening thread over the last week or so, so I will not repeat them here.
However, for me, Christmas music is essentially JS Bach and Charpentier.
You have listed a number of different versions of pieces of music that I already own so I will no doubt be investigating those.

Re: Which are your favorite Christmas recordings?
The Gardiner Bach cantatas are definitely essential Seán, and I would add Herreweghe and Koopman, all exquisite in their different ways..
Criminally, I also forgot to include the incomparable Buxtehude Christmas cantatas, a must next to the Christmas tree.
