Reminds me of persuading my late mother-in-law not to get a Bose Wave radio, but to get a Tivoli Model One instead. She was quite pleased with the result, and that was a reasonably good result as she wasn't easily pleased!

Great find. Funny at the beginning but ultimately quiet sad. One point which I hope is not to serious or mundane for this thread, I dont believe that High end shops will not stoop to just selling you any product that makes a profit for them regardless whether you need it or not. Ultimately they are a business and need our cash to survive.
