A protest march from Parnell Square to the Dail will take place on 15th April from 11.00 a.m. The march is organised by anti Wind Turbine, Pylons and Substations groups from all over Ireland.

The purpose of this post is (a) to alert you to the probability of traffic delays and diversions in the city centre on that day and (b) to invite you to join us in some or all of the march from Parnell Square to the Dail.
Recently Minister Pat Rabbitte confirmed, what we all knew anyway, that the purpose of the giant pylons crossing the country is to facilitate the export of wind generated electricity. We believe that wind turbines are a blight on the landscape, they significantly reduce the value of homes in the vicinity of wind farms and are a known source of health problems especially affecting those with autism and/or epilepsy, triggering migraines, causing sleep problems etc.
“Wind turbines won’t stop climate change but they may distract politicians from taking real action to address climate change.”
Once again I want to thank FRAN for allowing me to post this and other anti windfarm protest notices on his website. I hope that some of you can make it to Dublin to join us on the march. I understand that the schools will be closed for the Easter break so children and young adults are especially welcome.
Thanks for reading this and looking forward to meeting you on the streets of Dublin.......
