Heres some clean power injectors ive made with usb3 compatibility too

a substantial low cost improvement

you cant see in the photos but the +5v is severed on the male side of the adapter (did this by removing the pin)
sd card player, modded soekris dac, class a lifepo4 amp or gb class a/b amp, diy open baffle speakers based on project audio mundorf trio 10's
