Excellent news. I had it several years ago when you could have a paid subscription from Ireland but after 6 months I unsubscribed as listening to music on a pc is not my thing.

How things have moved on. I'm listening to my main system with my old apple airplay attached, with spotify playing through it at 328 or some such, controlled by my iPad.

Currently listening to a playlist called new Irish music, having had a listen to Dylan and Cohen's latest to see if I was missing much.

A game changer.

Sorry I don't fully understand your question.

I have spotify on the iPad and an airport express set up through win 7. I had thought this would only allow streaming of iTunes but it seems to allow me to stream any audio content form the iPad.

I use Remoteless on my iPhone to control Spotify on my mac. I also use another app on my mac to send Spotify to either my Airport express or Apple TV. Not sure what it's called. Airwave perhaps?

EDIT: That app is called Airfoil.

funny, in the spotify app there's no option to AirPlay... however if you lock your phone, spotify appears in the lock screen when you press the home key,(as the music app normally does) and you can AirPlay it from there....

I'm intrigued by this. Are you able to stream directly from your iPad to your Express? What did you have to do first? I can't see any options on the iPad Spotify app to stream to Airport. Are you setting it in iTunes and it's just automatically streaming from the iPad?

I'm using a mac so it may be different.

Signed up for the premium account. I am hoping to stream upstairs in the house through a tablet or phone to a creative d100 speaker or similar... if anyone has experience in this area i am all ears:-)
