Ok, long story short. I have a pair of Rennaisance RA-02 monoblocks, they look great & sound fantastic, very open & airy......the thing is, they're too good for the only application that I can use them in, namely a bedroom system.
My main system is now a 5ch system, which I have a Rotel RMB1095 on amplification duty for, I bought a pair of Arcam Muso speakers for the bedroom (which I have wired back so I can 'Zone 2' them from my main system). I was going to use the Rennaisance monoblocks for the bedroom, but they're overkill.
So, has anyone got a good 2 channel power amp that they were looking to up-grade? Preferably a Rotel (to match the 1095!) but I'll consider anything.
These monoblocks are seriously under rated, they were HiFi+ magazines product of the year in 2005 though & they don't dish out accolades like that lightly.
A power amp is ideal, but you know me, I'm always open to a p/x on pretty much anything.
To give an idea of value, these were 2k STG new.
ATB,
Anyone looking to upgrade their 2ch amp?
