Computer Problem

Post by JAW »

Just before I take the laptop to the local repair centre am I missing something simple here? I'm using Windows 7 on a Compaq laptop and over the weekend it lost the ability to play video clips. If I click on a You Tube clip it gives me the following message "An error has occurred. Please try again later." I thought maybe I had lost Adobe Flash Player and downloaded it again, but still get the same message.
The antivirus is up to date, so I would be disappointed if something had slipped in under the radar there. Any ideas?

What browser are you using? Is it happening with all of the usual suspects?

Thanks for that Simon! I switched to Google Chrome from Mozilla and everything worked again. That leaves me disappointed with Mozilla, I used to think that it was great. Thanks again!

I swap back and forth, but I've been using chrome for a while now. Glad it's working anyway!
