Realising that Ireland has as many professional tennis players as it does snakes, I'm guessing this isn't your sport, but a word needs to be said for the incredible Raffa, King Clay, who has just beaten Djokovic to gain his 7th crown, finally beating Bjorn Borg's record, which we once thought would be untouchable:

quite an amazing achievement, really....
King Clay Reigns Supreme
Re: King Clay Reigns Supreme
I am a great admirer of Nadal; have been for a long time. Yes he is a great tennis player but his great strength lies in his consummate professionalism coupled with an obsessive never say die attitude which ultimately wears down opponents who are technically better than he is. He has a big heart, constantly strives to better himself (!) and is probably prepared to die on the (clay) tennis court. He is a supreme athlete and should be a model example to any professional sports person no matter what their game is.
