I'd say you were intrigued with the way the motor works!; no switch, just give the platter a push and away she goes. I've often wondered if I forgot to unplug the motor -it vibrates when stopped - would it burn out??Well, all I can say is I've left it plugged in by mistake - longest, about 5 hours - and it had no detrimental effect....still I try my best to remember to unplug the darned thing!!

Tom and Glenn are friends - when emailing Glen about a Micro he was servicing I mentioned NA, he responded to say he was drinking a cup of tea with Tom at the time! Similar company ethos from Croft - he serviced and updated output stage of a micro II for me at not much than it would have cost me in parts to do myself, stunning customer service.

That's right and when myself and Glenn would have long chats during his 'semi-retirement' period he would tell me he was demoing his new prototype amps ( what became the Micro 25 pre and Series 7 power amps) up at Tom's house...As for the customer service? need I say more, truly wonderful......
