I can do 603 without magnification - no problem. I did a couple of 402 but with a good daylight. I guess positioning them is the tough part. Once you hold them properly in place it gets easier. Also, BGA balls can be used to take just enough of solder on your soldering tip.

another day of madness............
we got batteries installed in 5 cases
and got transformers heatsinks and psu units in two of them
and almost the same in a third
these psus where tested and set to the appropriate voltage

lol.. next time
we were joking before about calling it the "never again" amp
it really turned out to be quite a lot of work to get the quality and cosmetics we way we wanted
the case work seems to be far more time consuming than the electronics
hopefully all involved will we happy with their amps when there all finished
and be able to sit back and say we built it and it sounds great
