Brilliant stuff! Great ambience on the first one and as for little whippsnapper on the guitar

Dug this one out last night. Battered, lonely and very rarely played. Probably picked up in some forsaken flea pit. I was more than astonished at how good it was. Could this be a lost gem from the Clapton live archives? Even on Ramblin' he sounds pissed and like a real blues guy with a kind of resigned mode of singing I haven't heard before. Great stuff and terrific guitar as only Eric knows how! And not a bit of it remastered lol!

Sitting somewhere between blues and jazz this little gem it's just gorgeous. She was on on with Jools Holland the other night and when asked who her favourite female singer was she replied "Blossom Dearie" - I punched the air and shouted "yes" as if Leinster had scored yet another magnificent try!
here she is on a Cohen song....

I thought that was Katy Perry for a minute. Needless to say I got a bit of a shock!
I'm listening to that now on Spotify and true enough, it's lovely stuff.

Yeah, after reading this, I had a listen too. Very easy on the ear.

I came across an LP by Buddy Guy and Junior Wells called Drinkin' Tnt 'N' Smokin' Dynamite, backed by Bill Wyman (bass), Dallas Taylor (drums) and Pinetop Perkins (piano) last year and I really like the live recording. If you are interested you can listen to the full album on the link below.
