How would you all feel about having a thread set up (maybe with a sticky pin, Admins?) which can be our own listening lounge, where people can pop something on the gramophone, help themselves to a glass of port and chat away about anything vaguely music related...
Why not? Try it and see how it goes!

Some of these threads have been getting jolly 'chatty' recently, to such a point that the 'Recent Purchases' thread hasn't really been purely about recent purchases for a while...

thereby leaving the listening, purchases & bargain threads to just that..
this isn't intended as a criticism; merely as an observation.
What do you all think?
It could be very interesting. I too would suggest that you start such a thread and see what happen.
Matt.

would that be Guinness & Pork Scratchings flavour?
He is also of the Vegetarian species so the pork would definitely be out Jared. In relation to the beverage I would suggest that it is more likely to be a very nice bottle of the Red Vine!
Quite. While I am partial to a nice pint of Guinness (it's been ages) I don't think I've ever even a seen pork scratchings. Currently sipping a damn fine Vacqueryras from my own shelves.
