Lovely indeed Seán. Bohm we all know and love in Mozart but the Jochum in Haydn was a bit of a revelation for me....one to explore further if he did any more Haydn.

Now that looks interesting.
I like what Kertesz did in his tragically short conducting life; if I come across any composer of interest to me in which he had a conducting role I would not hesitate. So it was with this one Seán. It was a very fine version, taken a bit on the slow side but very expressive.

I have only heard Berglund lead an orchestra in Sibelius, what do you make of those recordings?
I would be in a somewhat similiar situation Seán. The simplist way to answer that question is to say that I did not notice him at all. That is by way of a compliment as the music flowed freely and lightly as it should do in these two works.
