Getting back to this project after a few detours lol.

Decided to build the "normal" version, no battery power at least not for now.

Keep revising my pwb layout, need to stop pretty soon, it's too easy to just keep tweaking it.
I moved the output cap off the board, it's easy to wire in, and took up a lot of board space.

I'll post my latest pwb soon, when I order some boards.

I'm designed a little PWB for the headphone amp.
I think the PWB is done, plan to place an order for a few of the boards soon.

Then I need to order the parts from Mouser.

ye would likely be as well make provision for TK50J30D mosfets on that pcb for the speaker amp as its the same circuit
i'd be tempted get a few boards made myself then

Took a quick look at the TK50J30D datasheet
Looks like a bigger package, pin spacing is basically twice the tk13e25.
So it should not be a problem to put in a couple more holes for this part to accommodate the larger part.

yea thats what i was thinking,
i can't remember if richard made the gainstage i used for mine public
certainly would like to have a pcb of it, would be all smd though

here it is, supporting both types of mosfets

Resistors are mini melf type surface mount except R2. R2 is a 3w power resistor

P1, P2 and P3 are just intended to solder wires into

I can't recall either, nothing against it going out into the wild though. Its a minor variation on the active I/V stage which Matt Garman on DIYA was going to turn into a PCB. Not sure how far he got with that though...
