It is indeed a TD124, and with the standard ESL arm too....

What is the control unit and the receiver I wonder?

garrard had a big switch up front........

my old radiogram had one in it... with a mullard tubed amplifier and celestion speakers!!

Have a look at Shelter 201,very musical cart if you want tasty MM .

eheh np, not really I'm just stuck with a max budget around 100-120€

I heard that MC are less powerfull also, so... not sure it's good for me (as I find already the Grado not being powerful enough)...

That's because the Grado has a lower output than most others (5mV). You couldn't go wrong with the Goldring 1000 series of mms....from the 1006 up to the 1042 (6.5mV). The lower range are very affordable too.

I just ordered a shure m97xe, for 80€ delivery included i ain t taking too much risk... :-)

I ll give u my opinion on it once back home (at te moment traveling witin Japan ;-) )
