Thank you very much, but I should be OK. I may try to experiment with other alignment options and see if I can get an even better result. But me ears are satisfied so far.

No worries. When it comes to alignment, I much prefer Baerwald over Stephenson. Baerwald gives much better performance on the inner grooves for long sides. Inner groove distortion is something I cannot abide.
I made a quick research on that tonearm (Jelco SA-13TL1) and it comes out that the problems are mainly due to the tonearm and the way it was mounted on the turntable by the Italian Lenco factory:

Legends apart, when I use the alignment calculator on Vinyl Engine the null points positions are pretty weird: 44.4 and 92.34cm.
I will repeat the alignment considering those points and keep it that way.

The Feickert protractor can align it perfectly and is very, very accurate. Offer is always there if you want me to set it up for you.

IIRC some of the Pro-Ject arms are 8.5 inch too. I've set a few of them up as well.

The picture I got is that this is a deck-tonearm pair with a number of compromises. I will give it a second try with the values I got from VE. In case I am not satisfied I will contact you. Thanks for your help.
Upgrading the tonearm (like many do) would be a more definitive solution, but I will consider it a plan B.
