Sonotone 8T 4A needle (NOS) - Sold

Post by Brutus1968 »

Hi, my wife has recently found (hidden in a drawer of her family home) the needle in the subject. It is still in its plastic case and I guess it has never been used. I have made a google search and I understand it was used in a number of juke-boxes or 78rpm record players. In case anyone is interested I will give it away for free.
I don't have a picture now, but it looks like the same as the one visible here https://www.thestyluslady.co.uk/stylus- ... -305-p.asp

This is the one that I used to get for the Ultra stereo at home. I used to test it by how clear the triangle (if it is a triangle) at the start of And You And I by Yes sounded!

I have some pictures here. The specs on the case say: "No. 18 standard sapp stereo/lp dia. Suitable replacement for Sonotone 8T 4A"
The protective foam inside is decomposed, but still there.
