As per above (it's actually a P2 clone - a Goldring GR2)
If you have one lying around - perhaps you've upgraded to an acrylic platter or have a broken down Rega in the attic? (I think a P3 platter has the same spec.) I'd be prepared to pay €20 for one in acceptable condition - price based on two currently on sale at Ebay.co.uk for average price of stg £13 (obviously postage is prohibitive from the UK due to weight.)
I'm in the Cabinteely (D18) area and can collect anywhere within the greater Dublin area.
Cheers.

Have you considered an Achroplat? It's a replacement for the glass platter, a bit more expensive but a significant improvement over the glass platter

The whole place is a complete mess. Can't find anything. Right now I'm eating scrambled eggs, with a comb, from a shoe!

Thanks for that info, DavidMc - will definitely investigate. It certainly looks fantastic and I'm willing to try anything that improves on the cheapo MDF platter I have at the moment! I've looked at those Groovetracer platters and mods too but they're pricey enough.DavidMc wrote:Have you considered an Achroplat?
