A second request for the Lii drivers info.....

I have sachiko horns with Fostex drivers, and I read somewhere that some of the Lii drivers are an improvement.... a future project maybe.

So the open baffle uses the Lii Audio F15 in a very simple baffle... I'm no carpenter for sure. Hopefully, the images are attached.

They sound great to my ears, with plenty of detail and lively sound... defo need a sub to fill out the bass. Took ages to break in as well. I thought it missed a bit of mid-range warmth so ended up buying a set of old Tannoy cabs... they fit in perfectly and am enjoying that at the moment. Going to swap them back to the open baffle for fun one of the days... it has a more open sound for sure, but my room is very small so not too much of a trade-off in the cabinets. Amy questions just ask.

I would imagine the Horns sound great? ... I am half thinking of making the "le Petit' with a Fostex 125 full-range driver.

Hi... no crossover, full-range 15" driver so just directly connected to the tube amp.

I don't like the barrel shape so just went with a rectangular baffle... loads of great info on the Decware forum.

Steve Decware is a big fan of the Lii Audio drivers... particularly the 15" ... look at his latest experiment:

Are your speakers pushed upsidedown at the moment?or did you resit curiosity?

Hi Paul,
The drivers are in Tannoy Berkeley cabinets for the last few months...also sound great but lose a bit of openness to the soundstage compared to the open baffle. I might swap them this weekend and will defo dry them upsidedown for curiosity.

Which fostex drivers did you use... how are they?
