Agreed.

I had it happen to me a couple of times, and other times I got the bill first (pay before delivery).

I have a parcel from a big supplier in the USA that is properly set up for customs etc. in Shannon at present. The last 10 deliveries have been smooth as butter, but this time my parcel has been selected for extra customs scrutiny (I paid VAT etc and have the receipt). They wanted copies of everything, and then came back looking for my PPSN. Naturally I was fairly reluctant to give that to UPS.... they already have my name, address, phone and email. Revenue should well be able to figure out who I am from that.

All of which means a week or two of delay. Nothing can be taken for granted with this.
