SOLD: €3500 LAST PRICE DROP PROAC D40 Loudspeakers. In Cloney Audio for Demo PRICE DROP
SOLD.
Selling my Proac D40 speakers. Cherry veneer. Dome tweeter. No fading as always used with the grills off. Original cartons & packaging.
Pristine condition.
These are wonderful sounding speakers & to equal the sound quality, one would have to spend multiples of euro to the price they can be got for here.
Only reason for sale is I have an opportunity to upgrade.
One magazine states that the performance of the Proacs is what you would expect from a $40k to $60k pair of speakers. See review below . And yes they actually are that good.
I've had mine paired to great effect with a Moon 700i, Felicks Audio Ariosa & currently using a Pass Labs Int250.
I specifically bought these with the Dome tweeter as its much more my preference over the ribbon version. But each to their own.
These speakers are now located in Cloney Audio, Dublin & can be demoed there.
Need to move them on & I have dropped the price to €3995 ono.

Re: Proac D40 Loudspeakers
Yes 😃
To both, great speakers & will be sorry to see them go. These really need room to shine & when they do, they’re as good as it gets without spending silly money. Looks will not suit all, but I happen to find them aesthetically pleasing, in an old fashioned way compared to the newer modern looking brands like focal, B&w and so on
