Re: CD player/transport recommendations
Hi all,
Thanks for the advice, I plumped for a 6000 CDT from Richer Sounds, along with the requisite interconnects and a Chord Qutest.
Sounding very good indeed; having a bit of a CD'athon this weekend, the wife will be delighted too as she cannot fathom the streamer.
Many Thanks,
Ricky

Congrats on the new purchase and well you may wear!
Do or do not, there is no try
Re: CD player/transport recommendations
I'm happy with the Audiolab bought from the lads in HifiHut. Its a silent unit and looks nice in my rack. Im not mad on the slot unit the way it drags the CDs in and Ive seen threads on Hifi forums suggesting scratching but I dont see any scratches on any of mine.
Re: CD player/transport recommendations
Glad you are happy with the Audiolab. I really like mine as well and I suspect you would need to pay a lot more to get something that performs sinificantly better....
