I have just received this machine back from service in Holland and is now for sale. The service was done by Norman van Wijnen. The reason for sale is that he is servicing my CR7 at the moment, which I will be keeping.
The list of work done:
Nakamichi CR5 serial A129-02198 16-07-2021
Onboard battery replaced
New Reelmotor
Cleaning of copper contacts transport
Capstan bearings cleaned and oiled
New lamp inside cassette holder
New Belts
Modification from idler to gear
Used fader button placed
front bias potentiometer replaced
Head base replaced
Complete calibration done
Outside cleaned
Looking for €1200 but open to offers (or possibly part exchange depending on what is being offered) by Tir Na HiFi members. I will get some pics up soon. The machine is in excellent condition. Playback and recording are superb. Any questions, please ask.

To make it as clear as we can, here are some simple guidelines:

d) honesty is paramount in all selling transactions. Commercial sellers who label themselves as such are accepted at the discretion of the moderating team.
e) All ads have to include information about age, price, provenance, etc.
f) THE MODERATING TEAM RESERVE THE RIGHT TO REMOVE ANY ADS AT THEIR DISCRETION.
g) Commercial sellers should approach any of the moderation team in advance of posting. First time commercial posts without moderator contact will be removed.
