new tone arm

Post by Fran »

I saw this today, looks like a new approach to a tonearm, although I would love to see a few more pics of exactly how it works.

Anyway, it'll be interesting to see how it survives. It seems to be a knife edge for the vertical movement, sitting on a more conventional bearing for rotation as far as I can tell, but I might be wrong there.

I love the stealth look - makes my recently purchased Nima look like a clunker! Lots of good information here, including manual, video and review: https://forums.stevehoffman.tv/threads/ ... m.1088949/
I have a switch in my apartment but it doesn't do anything. Every once in a while, I turn it on and off. One day I got a call from a woman in Austria... She said "Cut it out will you!"

Very clever design details, makes the unipivot on the VPI Scout look antique.

Sttttooooppp!

I don't need the encouragement! I'd be seriously looking at it if I hadn't just bought one of these (no buyer's remorse either).

Is it based on the Well Tempered Tonearm?
