As someone who managed to fall off the step at their front door and rip all the tendons off their knee requiring surgery, "run forrest run" braces and no driving for a long time, I'm heartily sorry to hear the news. The pain is only eclipsed by the embarassment of how I did it.

You know the way Ivor's sig says "it draws you in"? That means financially.

I'm already considering a Schiit Sol just for Schiits and giggles. Don't tell the missus.

Have Schitt got distributors this side of the big pond? I posted before about that TT and it looked great, but I gather it had some early production issues that they actually went and sorted out (to their credit).

There's a schiit-europe website that I've been looking at, but it's been out of stock there for some time. Recent reviews have been good, including Stereophile, and from what I can tell most of the issues are sorted. To my shame, I'm wondering if I can justify having 2 different turntables to play with. Madness I know, given my minuscule collection...

Si, seriously consider the pre loved, pre proven market.

I didn't get the hi-fi gear I have today by using sense!

Sorry to hear of your accident, Ivor! Hope it heals well and soon!
