To make it as clear as we can, here are some simple guidelines:

a) like any forum, the success of tirnahifi is entirely dependent on discussion. All members are encouraged to participate in discussion of music, hifi, etc.
b) tirnahifi is not designed to be, nor intended to be, a marketplace. Any member who uses the site merely for selling will be looked on suspiciously.
c) those members who choose to sell on the site should be aware that the mods do keep an eye on the stuff for sale, plus the demeanour of the seller. Sometimes we may lock/delete/ban a sales thread on this basis.
d) honesty is paramount in all selling transactions. Commercial sellers who label themselves as such are accepted at the discretion of the moderating team.
e) All ads have to include information about age, price, provenance, etc.
f) THE MODERATING TEAM RESERVE THE RIGHT TO REMOVE ANY ADS AT THEIR DISCRETION.
g) Commercial sellers should approach any of the moderation team in advance of posting. First time commercial posts without moderator contact will be removed.

Airtight ATM-2 for sale

I'm reluctantly putting my Airtight ATM-2 up for sale. Unfortunately the grandkids are now past the crawling stage and have transformed to the running around stage.

It's in great nick. Tubes were replaced a couple of years ago, and haven't got a lot of use since:
Electro-Harmonix 12BH7 Gold (Matched Triodes (Balanced))
Electro-Harmonix 12AX7-EH Gold (Matched Triodes)
Electro-Harmonix 12AU7A / ECC82EH Gold (Matched Triodes)
SED "winged =c=" KT88 vacuum tube NOS (Matched)

Looking for €3,500.

(as regards the picture - it looks like the arse is falling out of it (it's not) - it's just the reflection of the light source off the copper base)

Available to audition in Bray anytime during the next two weeks. You're welcome to bring your inputs/outputs or use mine (LP12; The Groove, ATC-2, ATM-2, SA-Rangers). I'll be taking the ATM-2 and ATC-2 out of the rig in 2 weeks (to slip in some solid state), so you'll need to bring your own kit after that (B/H weekend).

Not particularly looking to sell the ATC-2 at this time, but willing to do so if you want a perfect match for the ATM
