Working my way through this today - seems appropriate for the weather down south!
5 x CDs, couldn't stretch to the mad price on vinyl

Bloody damned right not to go for the vinyl box set! Of course I have a lot of the Allman's stuff including the earlier 6Lp set. So it's a no brainer to go for the CD set anyway whether I have most of the material or not. Only last week I was pondering the 6 CD Fillmore set so I'll probably get that one first or then again maybe not as this set is a lot cheaper and much more diverse.

Anyway happy listening Shane!

I bought this at a weak moment (late at night, fully belly of alcohol, you know the scene!) and it’s been sitting ready to rip for many months. Auralic’s new ability to play CDs from a USB drive gave me the opportunity to give it a spin and it really is such an enjoyable listen. A simpler time, but surprisingly strong content by and large.

Nice one Shane! Would you believe my favourite of early Rory is the Beat Club Sessions. I love that old fashioned radio sound plus he's on fire 🔥
