Came across these speakers on a Steve Guttenberg video and was really impressed with the story, has anyone here ever heard any of these speakers?
Tempted to order a pair even without hearing them!!!

Think they're selling directly from manufacturer so no dealers around the world, and never really saw them in EU ads, shows and heard somebody has them. Wanted to buy a pair few years back but then gave up - there are some nice reviews specially about that wide and deep sound stage they produce, but other characteristics are no best-in-the-class, its just ok-ish. Very interesting technology and concepts nevertheless.
Please if you decide to pull the plug, can we invite our selfs for a short listening session:)?

There is a pair of Ohm Walsh loudspeakers in Harry Bosch's home in the TV series Bosch, along with McIntosh amplifiers and Marantz turntable.

There are not that many omni direcitonal speakers knocking about - I've seen others, but can't think of a name of one right now (other than quads which I reckon are pretty damn close). I remember hearing one at a show in Manchester a good few years ago from a small UK startup that sounded very nice indeed. One of the better sounds at that show I think.

But, importing from the US unheard is risky.....

Ya definitely would not take the US route, they do have suppliers in Germany and Italy.
From Germany at €3,350 for the AE2000 which is a sobering amount!!

You''re probably thinking about DUEVEL speakers from Germany Fran. They have decent range of different models available, but all are based on omni directional drivers or way of distributing sound waves. Another one is BEOLAB, but I would consider them more a triumph of form over the substance.
Some of the MBL speakers, but those cost millions.

I came across the same Steven Guttenberg short review of OHM WALSH speakers and was curious.
I am not sure how they would work in the room that has irregular shape, or if you have different material, textures on both side walls.

Thought that they are manufacturing those speakers basically unchanged for so many years, and that there are faithful owners not keen to change for anything else, proofs however that the design is at least interesting. Reminds me little bit of VANDERSTEEN speakers, little bit by design, but more about their success in manufacturing same speakers for 30-40 years. At the time I owned them I was living in small space and was not able to discover their full potential, but they were probably most engaging speakers I have ever knew for such a little money. It could be the case of OHM WALSH.
It's a pity it will be so expensive to ship, pay tax to own the OHM WALSH. My attention would be more focused on DUEVEL if someone is after the same sound.
