This is the one I have Markof. A certain John Martyn plays a bit of guitar on the album. Must dig it out later......

Listening to it just now reminds me of a lightweight jazz version of Sky. John's solos are actually the only bits I look forward to.....Probably the reason I still have the album!

It's similar to mid-late period soft machine - some very nice sax and trumpet solos, lovely melodies and tight ensemble playing.

Soft Machine's a decent pointer! Though I'm only familiar with their mad early stuff. Must give it a listen so.....Thanks!

I always loved the 'electric' Miles Davis (Tutu, Amandla) and this is one of the best...
